If we process High TAN crude, what will be the consequences in ATF Merox Unit? Is there any effect on the ATF specifications?

In spite of many negative traits of naphtenic acids, a small quantity of acidity is advantageous in improving the lubricity of aviation turbine fuels.
Thus, in case of processing high TAN kero streams to Merox treatment process, the caustic dosing for removal of acidity need to be optimized to meet the ATF product specification for TAN and lubricity.
