Is it possible to Presulphide the NHT catalyst with Fuel gas containing H2S?

The best solution for NHT units is preactivation with the Totsucat process from Eurecat. This provides the quickest startup possible without any of the issues associated with in-situ sulfiding.

My personal opinion is that this can be done if (and this is usually a big if) the sour fuel gas is essentially free of olefins and do-olefins. However, I would not recommend this.
