What is maximum limit of Iron in the Platformer Feed?
What is the effect on Platformer catalyst like R56 or R86?
How can we control Iron in the feed with suitable filters?

Normally for UOP or Criterion/Axens CCR Catalyst, Lead is the serious poison with irreversible effects. You should ask your catalyst provider for the maximum concentration of Pb. Normally not more than 10 ppb should be allowed. The effect of lead on the CCR catalyst is, it poisons Platinum on atom to atom basis. If you are importing Naphtha then place a limit of 10 ppb on your import specs, if you are producing in your refinery then try to control Pb by passing over NHT which has NiMO or CoMo catalyst. Normally Pb will get deposited on NHT catalyst upto about 1 wt% the catalyst, but cannot be removed by regeneration. which means this solution is a temporary solution. When operation of Pb contaminated feedstock is unavoidable than you should monitor your NHT catalyst with regular pb analysis.

Generally the limit should be less than 3 ppb , iron is the most common corrosion contaminant.
