Please advise as to how catalysis bed levels are measured in FCC REGEN using differential pressure also how density is calculated from d/p.
Are dip tubes used similar to bubble system?

Similar to FCC regen section, i have seen in CFBC Boiler bottom bed section level get calculated using formulae which incorporates pressure drop@bottom range with help of ERGUN (deltaP/L) equation. It requires your solid properties which used for solid fluidization.

It's been a while since I looked at it, but my recollection is that you measure the catalyst density using a DP cell that is completely covered by the bed. You can calculate the density from the DP divided by the length of the transmitter range. You will need to use the appropriate units of measure and length for this calculation.
Your level transmitter can use the bed density and its DP reading to get a level.
