Fixed internal floating roof tanks are preferred to ethanol blended gasoline storage. API RP 1626 may be referred to. External floating roof tanks are not advisable.

I don't know for sure but doubt you would want to do it. Too much chance of getting water in your gasoline if you get some water leakage into the tank. The ethanol will pull water into the gasoline.
