One of our clients using LPG as feedstock for Isobutylene extraction is having problems with impurities such as NH3 and RSH though in pppm levels in Feed. How can these be removed?

I fully agree with the previous answer. Normally mercaptans are removed with a caustic extraction wash. This is mostly referred to as the MEROX process from UOP. For ppm levels of mercaptans, other possibilities like solid beds are also a possibility. It seems strange to have problems with NH3. Water washing or amine treatment should normally remove NH3.

Both UOP and Merichem have technologies for extracting mercaptans from LPG streams. You will probably try to remove the ammonia with a water wash column.
