One of the best process of enhancing paraxylene content in Naphtha is by Reforming of Hydrotreated Heavy Naphtha and maximising paraxylene by UOP Parex process.

Operating a catalytic reformer at optimized conditions with sufficient C8+ precursors can improve mixed xylene production, but a PAREX or similar process would be necessary to separate xylenes and isomerize the m-X and o-X into p-X.
