Which neutralization method is best for batchwise production of acidic effluent?

The most appropriate method is to neutralise it with dilute ( 10-15 % ) caustic solution and after ensuring it is neutralised ( pH 6.5 to 7.5, governed by regulations ) discharge it properly.
